Convention Seminars

Learning at seminars is one of the main reasons members attend RVW conventions. This year's convention in Goshen, Indiana will offer many opportunities for learning. At press time, the schedule of seminars was not yet finalized, but we do know there will be sessions on everything from what's new in RV satellite TV to how to detail your RV in one hour or less.

Many of the seminars are taught by our vendors and, with the convention on the eastern side of the country, there are some new vendors who have not presented before. Many of our long-time supporters will also be presenting.

Some of the topics being offered this year include window shades, proper black/gray tank care, making RV life simpler, tire safety, safe driving tips, how to use your RV exit window safely in an emergency, guided RV tours, learning healthy habits, the ins and outs of towing four-down, off-the-grid RVing and fire safety.

Another great advantage attendees enjoy is the sharing that always happens at an RVW convention. Several RVW members will be offering seminars ranging from informal forums to hands-on craft projects to things you can do to enhance life on the road. Some of these sessions include how to get volunteers for your chapter, learning how to use your musical instrument to lead a campfire sing-along, geocaching, RV modifications you can make, and choosing the perfect RV. Some of the craft sessions include decorating garden pots, knitting for breast cancer patients, and making marble swirl painted ornaments. There will also be opportunities to learn and play Mah Jongg, compete in a Spades tournament and play pickleball.

Have you ever thought about writing a book? A published author will be giving two sessions on writing with advice and tips that can help you get on your way to being published.
If you have been to convention before and think this year's program will be a repeat of all that you have seen before—think again!
