Thanks to Barbara Schneider who spent a lot of time researching and putting together the information, you can now have quick easy access to articles that have been previously published in our magazine.
You will find two new web pages from the members only section; Tech Tips and Where To Go - What to See articles.
The new pages above and all magazine issues, both archived and current are now available from the drop down box at the top of the page.
Go to Members Only Documents Magazines Online
In the drop down box you will see the two new pages along with current and archive issues. Go to the index of articles page you are interested in click on the link (article title) and you will have direct access to the article.
Kudos to the E - Communications committee for their time and energy given to this project !
Double kudos to the fact that they sought feed back. I enjoyed going though the subject list, links or no links.
Thanks to all, Dorene Thomas
Dianne: adding the links to the specific pages in the archive magazines will make this a truly great additon to the website. I hope to see projects fully funded so they can be the best for all the members. As someone earlier noted, if you aren't too savvy it can be daunting to try and find the articles by hand.
Great job to Barbara and the E-Communications committee. Perhaps in the near future we can link the articles. Right now I would like to challenge all members to start using the website on a regular basis. We need to increase our membership usage so we can justify its up keep and updates. Post your questions and your replies with confidence. Someone will get back with you, sooner rather than later. Thank you all for your comments.

The content is great! However, it will be more useful and user friendly if each article was linked directly to the magazine and page.
Hopefully this will be an option in the future.

Simona, thanks for helping clarify. I will modify wording above.
Regarding other comments I have received. I was not able to pull out the magazine article directly and/or create a bookmark or to even link to the magazine because of time constraints for this project from RVW, and the budget allowed for such. At some point I hope to be able to do that so that getting to the information will be easier.

This worked great for me but at first it wasn't obvious how to get from the article index to the actual imaged archives. Maybe this will help: Scan the topic index to find the article title you want to read. The index refers you to the year and the particular archived issue you need . Then look up near the top of the page for the link to a drop down menu where a chronological list of archived issues drops down. I missed this link at first. From this drop down list, click on the issue of choice. It opened quickly for me. Then you can read the entire applicable issue or page to the singular article of interest. SM
I can't say I am overwhelmed by the addition. Once I discovered the magazines were in Documents (which took me a while), I found the articles are listed but nOt accessible. It says under construction. Seems to me that the links should be active before the announcement is made. We do not keep archive copies of our magazines.
