Kamper’s West Kampground

ORVW has reserved 25 spaces for Thursday check-in, Monday check-out. Hosted activities begin with dinner on Friday. Adherence to these dates is not mandatory to participate in the rally. If you plan on staying extra days before or after, you need to book early to stay in one site the whole time.

The park has Wi-Fi, but no cable TV. There is a nice, big club room with a TV, and lots to do in nearby Astoria including the Maritime Museum and a weekend craft market downtown. Leashed, well behaved pets are welcome and pet etiquette rules must be followed. Pets off leash are cause for your immediate eviction from the park.

The park is holding 25 sites for us until April 16, 2019 at which time they will release any unreserved spaces to the public. The 2018 group rate is $36/night which may change for 2019. A stay prior to or beyond our rally days will be charged at normal rates. A group attendee list will be sent to the park on April 10, 2019, so notify Paulette at oregon_arch@yahoo.com immediately if you plan to attend. The park will call you a week before the rally to get your payment information, so you will be all checked in when you arrive. There is a cancellation fee of $20 if you call less than 48 hours ahead of your check-in date. No shows will be charged one full night's fee. You will receive a map and site assignment when you arrive. All sites are full hook-up, mostly 30 amp but a few are 50-amp sites.

To ensure that you get the agenda emailed to you in advance and so our hosts will have an accurate head count for activities, please contact Paulette Beliveau by email at oregon_arch@yahoo.com to get on the participant list. Give her the days/dates you booked and let her know if you will have a guest with you. Paulette can also answer any questions you might have about the park or instructions. Reservations and rally participation for the weekend can be made independent of the chapter by calling the park directly to make a reservation however you will not get the group discount. If you want an agenda and participant list, you must let Paulette know about your plan to attend.
