RVing Women has an exciting national event planned for May, and it leaves you enough time after it is over to head south to Florida for the 2021 convention!

The Visit DC Rally will offer four days of touring Washington, DC, by motorcoach with the tours led by a certified Washington, DC tour guide.

Tours will be May 6, 7, 8 and 9. Although the schedule may change based on availability, sites and monuments the group plans to tour include the Washington Monument; World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War monuments; Lincoln, FDR, Jefferson and Martin Luther King, Jr. memorials; the Air Force, Marine (Iwo Jima) and Pentagon 9/11 Memorials; the White House (exterior only); U.S. Capitol Tour, Library of Congress, Supreme Court; National Cathedral Tour; Mount Vernon (home of George Washington); Arlington National Cemetery and the Memorial to Women in the Military Service.

“Even if you’ve been to DC before, there’s so much more info you’ll learn when you’re with a tour guide! Come and learn the stories behind the sights while you spend time with your RVW sisters.”
–Rally Host Marsha Adelson

Other Details:

We will be departing at approximately 8 a.m. each day and returning to the campground at 5 p.m. That return time might vary due to traffic, but we will do our best to be sure we are always back in time for dinner.

Even though a motorcoach will provide transportation, there will be a lot of walking involved. Any participant who has mobility issues and requires a scooter or wheelchair should notify RVW when she registers. Contact Marsha Adelson at

Cherry Hill Park has pet sitters they work with, so all participants should be able to arrange for their 4-legged friends.
